I so enjoyed venturing more into portraiture using images from the classic elegant 1940s and 1950s fashion photos. The lines and images of that time were so raw and strong. I really enjoyed bringing this together with a black and mint palette. Hats at the time were more predominant and often adorned with appliques. This young beauty I decided to bring in pearls and black chiffon flowers in the hat, I imagined them slightly tossling in the wind.

I am extremely honored that you are considering one (or several!) of my pieces to display as part of your space. My goal is to create paintings and prints that exhibit positivity, warmth, vibrance, and will put a smile on your face. Our prints are made using archival paper that is 100% cotton and printed using gilcee inks.

All monitors and printers deal with color in a different way. Mostly they print at the same shade, but sometimes there will be slight variations in color. I use my best judgement with cropping when it comes to the varying sizes offered in the drop down menu. The items shown are an example of the 8" x 10" and I will try to match that proportion in the larger dimensions as well and as close as I can, slight cropping may ocurr.
